Experienced Front of House Team Member

Location: Lorne

Casual, Full-time + Part-Time
Salary:
Casual rates or FT $49,500 - $62,000, pro rata
Hours:
38 hours (or part-time equivalent)

Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Floor Team Member to join our team at Pholklore in Lorne, Victoria. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patrons, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.

  • Provide knowledgeable descriptions of menu items and make recommendations.

  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the front of house area.

  • Collaborate closely with kitchen, bar and management teams to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of orders.

  • Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints.

  • Uphold our commitment to exceptional customer service.

  • Perform opening and closing duties according to established procedures.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in a front of house role in a busy restaurant environment.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering memorable dining experiences.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

  • Knowledge of food safety regulations is a plus.

  • You may be required to work across multiple locations.
