Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Bartender to join our team at Pholklore in Geelong, Victoria. You will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organised bar area.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve drinks.

• Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide recommendations based on customer preferences and menu offerings.

• Maintain inventory of bar supplies, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware.

• Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to minimize shortages and ensure uninterrupted service.

• Process payments accurately using POS systems, handle cash transactions, and reconcile cash drawers at the end of shifts.

• Adhere to all applicable alcohol service regulations and guidelines, ensuring responsible beverage service.

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, including bar tops, equipment, and glassware.

• Work collaboratively with bar staff, servers, and kitchen team members to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction.

• Perform opening and closing duties according to established procedures.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years old or older.

• Proven experience as a Bartender in a busy bar or restaurant environment.

• Extensive knowledge of beverage recipes, preparation methods, and presentation techniques.

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and approachable demeanour.

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

• You may be required to work across multiple locations.
