Position DESCRIPTION:
Experienced Kitchen Staff
Location: Looking for team members across both Torquay and Geelong. You may be required to work shifts across both locations.
Responsibilities:
Assist with all food preparation tasks.
Contribute to ongoing menu development/modification and prepare existing menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards.
Manage food costs and supplier budgets to optimise profitability.
Manage and maintain stock levels, ordering, and kitchen supplies.
Collaborate with venue management to align kitchen processes with overarching restaurant goals.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areas.
Follow food safety protocols and adhere to hygiene standards at all times.
Contribute to a positive team environment and support fellow kitchen staff as needed.
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a kitchen or culinary environment.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for food quality.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Culinary qualifications or certifications are a plus but not required.
